Registration
Registrations are accepted solely via our website, www.noches.hu. Registration is individual (leader or follower). If you wish to register with your sentimental partner, please mention this in the comment field of both registrations.
Registration can only be made by the participant themselves, and confirmations are non-transferable.
To ensure a great tango experience, maintain role balance (equal numbers of leaders and followers), and create a welcoming atmosphere with a well-balanced mix of nationalities and dancers, participation will be limited. Participants are selected based on several criteria: role, nationality and other objective and subjective factors. The time of the registration does not play a role in the selection process.
The marathon is organised by the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület). The contribution you pay is a grant for the Association to organise and realise the marathon, and enables you to attend the events for which you registered. For administrative reasons we will ask you to sign a grant agreement upon arrival, that is why the fields name, address and ID card number are obligatory. Your registration is valid only if you present a valid photo ID document upon arrival, so please don’t forget to bring your ID card.
After completing and sending your registration request, you will receive an automated e-mail within minutes in your e-mail box that we received your registration request (be sure to check the spam folder too). In case you did not receive any e-mail within 5 minutes, please contact us at registration@noches.hu.
Within 2-3 weeks, you will receive an email with your registration status. We will also post an update in our Facebook group and the current FB event when the first set of confirmations is sent out.
In case you were accepted to the marathon, the e-mail will contain your chosen package, payment info and our Payment and Cancellation Policy.
Your registration will not be final until we have received your payment (meaning your contribution appeared on our bank account in case of bank transfers). After your payment has arrived, you will receive a payment confirmation e-mail from us within 2 business days, and thus your registration for the marathon will be completed. Please make any travel arrangements (flights, accommodation) only after receiving this final confirmation.
There is NO NEED to send us proof of your transfer as sending the confirmation is based on the arrival of your contribution to our bank account. Please allow us a few days after you have completed your bank transfer as international bank transfers take 1-2 business days to arrive.
Please keep the registration and payment confirmation e-mails until you check-in to the marathon upon your arrival. You will receive your bracelet that grants entrance to your registered events upon arrival to the marathon, following the check-in at the registration desk.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment Deadline: If your registration was accepted, payment must be completed within 5 days, as outlined in the confirmation letter. Failure to make the payment may result in the cancellation of your registration. For payment difficulties or special requests, please contact the organizers at registration@noches.hu.
Participant Cancellations: In case of cancellation by the participant, the payment will not be reimbursed, no refund is possible.
Transfer of Registration: Confirmations are personal and non-transferable.
Event Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances and various acts of God, the participation fee will be automatically transferred to the next event.
General rules of conduct
We want the marathon to be a fun, comfortable and safe event for everyone. For this reason we will not tolerate harassment in any way, if you behave inappropriately, we will ask you to leave without any refund.
Other
During the event the organization will make photographs and videos to promote future editions of Noches de Hungría Tango Marathon.
By registering, you give us permission to use these images for the above named purpose on our website and social media channels.
Noches de Hungría Tango Marathon and the Association for Argentine Tango and Latin Dances (Argentin Tangó és Latin Táncok Egyesület) are not responsible for incidents and/or injuries or for personal items that are lost or stolen during the event.
